The Mentor Coordination Committee (MCC) can be of assistance to international students during their first weeks in Izmir. They do this by arranging a Turkish mentor for every international student. This mentor, who studies at the same faculty as the exchange student, can help him with any possible problems that might arise. He or she also helps the international student integrate into the student life as smoothly as possible. Mentors offer a wide variety of services ranging from giving students a tour of their faculty to where the inner city "nightlife hot spots" are. The MCC consists of 6 people: one from each of the Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Dentistry , Faculty of Education, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Letters, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Communication:
